You’re a team of 6 people with 72 hours to shoot a short film. The film can run up to 100 seconds, and you’ll be provided with a SONY FX2 camera kit for the shoot.
The challenge: you’re up against seven other teams, and only one can win.

On October 23, there will be a workshop on the SONY FX2 for all registered teams, running from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. That same evening at 7:00 p.m., the theme for your film will be announced at 'MFMW25: What’s Next?' The shooting window is from October 24 to 26.
All films will premiere on November 18 as part of Medienforum Mittweida 2025. The winning team will receive a trip to London to visit the SONY Virtual Stage at Pinewood Studios from January 14 to 15, 2026.
