'MFMW25: What’s Next?' is your chance to dive into the media industry and gain real insights from those who have already made it. On Thursday, October 23rd, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, we’re inviting you to the TV studio at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (Ludwig-Hilmer-Bau, Building 39). Doors open at 6:00 pm, no registration required!
Look forward to inspiring alumni from the media degree programs, who are now successful professionals in the industry. In an open talk, they’ll share genuine insights into their careers, talk about how they got started, and reveal how they achieved their goals.

Meet the speakers
lea wilhelm
Lea (B.A. Media Management, HSMW) gained experience at Endemol Shine and is currently working as an editor for KONTER Studios from Leipzig, where she is responsible for funk’s TikTok channel. She also works as a freelance social media editor for Bavaria Entertainment. Lea offers practical insights and tips for anyone looking to launch a career in editorial work and content creation.

Stefan Sander
Stefan (B.A. Media Management, HSMW) works as a sports journalist for SWR and the ARD Sportschau. His responsibilities include commentating on football matches, producing TV segments, and contributing to the social media team. Learn firsthand which skills are essential in sports journalism today and how to successfully start your career in the industry.

Hannah bergius
Hannah (B.A. Marketing Management, HSMW) gained her first experience in the social media team at Kliemannsland. After positions at ReachHero and salted beauty, she is now responsible for influencer marketing at SNOCKS – the Mannheim-based start-up for sustainable, high-quality basics like socks and underwear. Hannah offers practical advice on starting out in social and influencer marketing and highlights what really matters in this dynamic field.

Jeremias Hahn
Jeremias (Media and Acoustical Design, HSMW) found his way to Studio Berlin through his mandatory internship. Today, he works there as a production engineer, bringing experience from well-known TV formats such as “Wer stiehlt mir die Show?” – the multi-award-winning quiz show broadcast on ProSieben, which captivates millions with its innovative games and celebrity guests. Look forward to exclusive insights into the varied everyday life of a TV studio!

Josèphine Heidel
Josèphine (B.A. Media Management, HSMW) gained hands-on experience as a producer at the Campus Festival Mittweida during her studies before joining Saxonia Media in TV production. She first worked as a junior producer on the popular KiKA series “Schloss Einstein” and has been serving as a staff writer since May 2024. Josephine demonstrates how to break into the television industry and turn creative ideas into a successful youth series.
